Pros and cons of KitchenCalc Pro Culinary Math app for iPhone and iPad
KitchenCalc Pro Culinary Math app good for
I use to have one of these when I was in culinary school and I am glad to be reunited with such a great culinary calculator again. Thanks
This app is by far the best one Ive in countered with, its ability to convert recipes when I need it! m/
Some bad moments
Im a chef and Ive tried at least 3 of the other kitchen calculator types and they dont even begin to compare. THIS ONE is sooo easy and straightforward to use! Ive had their real hand held kitchen calc for years since I was in culinary school and theyre invaluable for recipe development and scaling recipes! And they finally they came out with this app!!(Ive been emailing them for 3 years asking for it!)) Dont waste your time with the other ones. Theyre all so cartoony and they take like 4 steps/ screens to complete one calculation. This one is so simple. Honestly couldnt live this app more!!!! --Chef Amy Jurist
Im a culinary student so Im always multiplying and converting units- this app does it all for me.
I grabbed the wrong measuring cup 1/3, when I was supposed to use 3/4. and had to figure out what was left to add for the sugar. 3/4 cup minus 1/3 cup = 6.5 tblspoons. Saved me from throwing out the whole recipe!
